Nutrilite in Spain
Amway, an American company specializing in the sale of nutrition, beauty and home products, has consolidated its presence in Spain with the opening of its second business center in Barcelona.
The new point of sale has a commercial area of more than 300 square meters distributed over two floors and has involved an investment of around 300,000 euros, as reported by the company today.
The opening of this space, located on Via Augusta, very close to Diagonal, is part of the company’s 30th anniversary in Spain, where until now it had a physical store in Madrid.
The Madrid center opened its doors in 2014 in the Salamanca district, on Calle Núñez de Balboa, and is obtaining very good results.
The company has experienced sustained growth in the Iberian Peninsula in recent years, increasing its turnover by more than 30% in the last five years, reaching sales of 14.6 million euros in 2015.
This new opening marks Amway’s seventh on a European scale, after landing in London, Berlin, Rome, Lyon, Madrid and Milan.
In addition to being a direct sales point, the Barcelona business center aims to support the Spanish commercial network, made up of more than 12,000 independent distributors, and serve as a multifunctional space for training, meetings and commercial presentations.
“This second center reaffirms the company’s commitment to the Iberian market and we believe that, together with the Madrid business center, it will be a key piece in the long-term growth of Amway in Spain”, declared the general director of the firm in the Iberian market, Monica Milone.
